The arc I have lived is the arc you are about to walk.
For much of my life, money was anything but simple. It was used as a tool of control, guilt, and conditional reward — by family, by employers, by the systems I moved through. Money became complicated and conflicted. Like so many of you, I handed the reins to others — my father, my husband, bankers, financial gurus — trusting that someone else understood what felt permanently out of reach.
Then came my divorce. I had assets and income, but no map. No one to defer to. No choice but to figure it out myself.
So I did. I read everything I could find. I built sprawling spreadsheets full of scenarios — modeling my net worth, my options, my future — until the fog began to lift. Slowly, I stopped being afraid of the numbers and started being guided by them. I took authority over my own financial life, and everything changed.
That hard-won clarity, layered onto my degree in accounting and finance, became the foundation of my coaching practice. I wove technical knowledge together with lived, practical experience — and people responded. They didn't just want help; they were hungry for it. That response confirmed my direction, leading me to pursue my fractional CFO certification and train in the Profit First methodology, which I have since implemented with hundreds of business owners.
Most business experts sell the destination. I can do that — and I can also speak honestly from the place of confusion, fear, and dependency, because I have been there. That combination is rare. My credentials make me qualified. My story makes me safe.
Revenue growth that didn't turn into stronger profit
Cash flow that felt unpredictable
Expenses that quietly crept up
Decisions made without full financial confidence
That journey — from financial fog to hard-won clarity — is exactly what led me to create Marginology.
I know what it feels like to stare at your numbers and feel nothing but overwhelmed. I also know what it feels like when the fog finally lifts and you can see your future clearly for the first time. Marginology is the framework I wish I'd had — a financial operating system designed to bring structure to how a business earns, manages, and keeps money.
Marginology helps business owners move from reactive financial decisions to intentional profitability, stronger cash flow, and greater clarity. Think of it as hope — on a spreadsheet.
It is not about overwhelming you with more reports. It is about helping you see what matters, understand what needs to change, and take action with confidence. Because you were never meant to be afraid of your own numbers. You were meant to be led by them.
CLEAR - We simplify the numbers so you can see what is actually happening in your business.
COLLABORATIVE - We work through the issues together. You are not handed a report and left to figure it out alone.
ACTION-ORIENTED - We turn financial insight into practical next steps that improve profit, cash flow, and decision-making.
For me, this work has always been about more than numbers. It is about stewardship.
I learned the hard way that financial clarity is not just a business skill — it is a form of freedom. When I finally took authority over my own financial life, I stopped surviving and started building. That shift changed everything, and it is the same shift I want for you.
Your business is not just a source of revenue. It represents responsibility, opportunity, people, and purpose. Everything you have poured into it — the late nights, the risk, the faith — deserves to be protected and grown with intention.
My goal is to help you manage what you have built with wisdom, clarity, and confidence — so your business can fully support your goals, the people depending on you, and the calling you were created to fulfill.
